Chennai Super Kings suffered an embarrassing 10-wicket defeat against Mumbai Indians in the 41st match of IPL 2020. Chennai Super Kings were able to score 114 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs after losing the toss at Mookabale. In response to this, Mumbai Indians won the target with ease. Dhoni-led Chennai performed extremely poorly in the match. Well, here we are going to count five reasons for the loss.First reason - Chennai Superkings made a big change in the opening department which has not been successful for the team. Chennai sent Raturaj Gaikwad with Duplessis in the match last day. The pair of Gaikwad and Duplessis did not give a strong start to the team and the top order was completely shattered. The second reason - Chennai Superkings' top order was completely shattered. The team lost 5 wickets in the power play itself. The middle order of the team came under pressure due to falling wickets in the upper order and the team could not stand a big score. The third reason - Mahendra Singh Dhoni could not perform captaincy when the team was getting in trouble. Dhoni's bat only gave away 16 runs which became a big reason for the team to lose.

The fourth reason - The decision to give young players a chance against Mumbai Indians proved to be wrong. Captain Dhoni should not have made many changes under the match.Fifth Reason - Chennai Super Kings team came against Mumbai Indians with good bowlers like Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar, and Shardul Thakur but could not take wickets. Against Mumbai, all the bowlers of CSK failed and did not get a single wicket.
