The second match of the four-match Test series between hosts India and England starts on Saturday 13 February at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This match is important for both teams, because after the result of this match, the picture of the ICC World Test Championship reaching the final will be a little clearer. However, the team that reached the final will be decided only after the last match of the series.

The two teams are likely to see a change in this Test match to be held in Chepak, Chennai, as the Indian captain Virat Kohli and team management will be under pressure to give Kuldeep Yadav a chance after losing the first Test. Apart from this, the captain and coach of England team has already made it clear that some changes can be seen in the second Test match. Even England's fast bowler Joffra Archer has already been ruled out.

Talking about India's playing eleven, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill can start the innings again. Apart from Cheteshwar Pujara and captain Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane will be playing at the third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. Rishabh Pant will be seen here as a wicketkeeper. As an all-rounder, Washington Sundar may have to sit out, while Akshar Patel is expected to be given a chance.
