In the ongoing European GT4 Championship 2021 in Bengaluru, the pair of Akhil Ravindra and Hugo Conde got a tough fight in the AGS event. Akhil is the only Asian player to participate in this championship this year. On Sunday evening, the race in Monza, Italy, faced tough competition. This pair of AGS events took 13th place in the Silver category in Race-2 after retreating in Race-1.

Two vehicles collided in the race
The Indo-French duo, who drove the Austin Martin Racing V-8 Vantage GT-4 car, had to drop out of the race earlier. In the second race, Akhil himself won the victory by holding the front. However, due to a collision of 2 vehicles in the middle of the race, Akhil faced some problems. However, he was successful in defending himself, but because of this, he fell behind in the position.

Perform well in the upcoming race


The team qualified with 11th place. At the same time, Akhil was successful in qualifying the race with 13th position in 50: 34: 074 time. After the race, Akhil said that we are not satisfied at all with the results of the Sunday race. Especially on Saturday, we could do better. It was unfortunate that we could not improve our position, but we are confident that we will do better in the coming race.

He said, 'The car crash on Saturday was very big and despite this our car was ready for Race-2. I would like to give full credit to my team. The next round of the European GT4 series i.e. Round 2 will now take place on May 28-30 in Circuit Paul Rickard of France.
