The government is taking every step towards cleanliness in the country. For this, he is also constructing toilets in the place, but this cleanliness campaign will not be completed just by taking the steps of the government, but for this, the common people will also have to participate in it. It is part of this campaign that a 15-year-old girl who has deposited money herself has built 10 toilets in rural areas.

We are talking about Mondrita Chatterjee who is based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. At the young age of 15 years old, we salute this spirit. He is an inspiration not only to the people around him but also to all the youth of the country. Mondrita has built 10 toilets so far and her only goal is to encourage the behavior of toilets in the society in every section.
This single news had a profound effect on Mondrita

This news had a deep impact on Mondrita once she came to know through the news that the girls are leaving school due to a lack of toilets in their school. Then she used to fall in fourth grade. Mondrita's father is very fond of listening to the news and through this, he came to know that due to the lack of toilets in schools, girls are not coming to study. Now it is very important to have toilets everywhere, not only in school. Whether it is a village or a city. However, even today, there are many villages which do not have toilets, due to which people have to face a lot of problems. After this news, Mondrita decided that she would do something in this direction.
Decided to build toilets with savings

According to Mondrita, she always had her piggy bank. She used to spend this money on festivals, but when she thought of building toilets, Mondrita started collecting money from her parents and relatives. Gradually adding one rupee a day, Mondrita added 24 thousand rupees in 2 years.

Inspire girls

According to Mondrita, when 24 thousand rupees were deposited with him, he expressed his desire to do this work to his parents. He then came to know about the village of Kendhih through the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNSC). At least 300 people were living in this village but despite so many people, there was not a single toilet in the village. After which Mondrita decided to build a toilet here.
Built 10th toilet on the occasion of 150th Gandhi Jayanti

Not only this, but Mondrita also built the 10th toilet on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary.
Special toilet

Moondrita had also built a toilet in the Manavikas School. The special feature of this toilet is that it is made from 7000 waste plastic bottles, not with modern technology. In the photos, you can see how the bottles are filled with mud. The reason for this is that so that there is no effect of heat on it either.

Chief Minister Raghuvar Das also came to see it

Raghuvar Das, the then Chief Minister of Jharkhand also came to see this toilet. About 1.8 lakh rupees have been spent in making this.
Parents were taken aback

Mondrita's parents were unaware of the daughter's move. According to Mondrita's father, he was not aware that his daughter was adding money for such work.
Mondrita wants to do this in the future

At the same time, Mondrita has only one intention in the future to do all the work in the interest of the environment and also toilets. Believe in Mondrita, she wants to do it in this direction in the future because toilets for girls today are as important as it is to take care of cleanliness during menstruation.
Mondrita also does counseling

Along with building toilets, Mondrita also visits villages with her parents. Not only this, but she also does counseling for it and explains why it is necessary to use it and how we can keep it clean.

People used to say 'Toilet Chatterjee'

According to the father of Mondrita, on this campaign of the daughter, people used to call him 'Toilet Chatterjee' but Mondrita did not mind it.
Big ministers have praised the work

This work of Mondrita has been praised by former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das and Governor Draupadi Murmu to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. Not only this, along with receiving the Assocham Leadership Award in 2018, Mondrita has also been selected as the brand ambassador for the cleanliness drive in East Singhbhum district.
