There are many historical buildings in Agra Fort

Agra Fort is surrounded by many large historical buildings. This fort has many big historical buildings like Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Musamman Burj, Sheesh Mahal, Nagina Masjid, which attract tourists in particular. The most attractive building in the fort, 'Sheesh Mahal', is a dressing room. The small mirrors inside this building are beautifully decorated.

Rulers who rule Agra Fort

People know that only the Mughal rulers ruled in this palace and from the palace. but it's not like that. This fort has also been witness to the rule of Ghaznavi and Lodi dynasty. It was only after these dynasties that the Mughal rulers like Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb ruled this fort. Inside this fort, Akbar also built many such buildings which were not there before.

Contribution of artisans

There are no official figures on how many artisans took to build this fort, but the history of this fort is said to have contributed to the construction of about 4000 artisans.

Delhi Gate and Lahore Gate

On the lines of Delhi's Red Fort, in this fort also one gate is known as Delhi Gate and the other gate is known as Lahore Gate. Lahore Gate of Red Fort is also known as Amar Singh Gate. It is said that Amar Singh was a courtier in the court of Mughal ruler Shah Jahan, in whose honour this door was named Amar Singh Gate.

If you have seen the movie 'Mughal-e-Azam' then there is a famous song in this film 'Pyaar Kiya to Darna kya'. For your information, let me tell you that this song was shot in this fort. Many people still sing this song.

Fort structure
