3 cups cooked basmati rice, 3 tablespoons oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin, some curry leaves, 2-3 dry red chilies, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 cup fresh tomatoes Puree, 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chili powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt
Add oil to the pan and heat it.
Add mustard seeds and cumin and chop it. Add curry leaves, red chilies, and asafoetida. Now add walnuts and tomato puree and stir.
Add all the remaining spices and run them again. When tomato puree is cooked, add rice to it.
Turn on high heat and serve hot rice.
